Training Needs Analysis
How can this be of benefit to you?
The starting point is an assessment of the needs of your organisation; what are its aims, objectives, and work plan? We would also need to know what the specific company requirements are and what each member of staff need to know to successfully carry out their job.
The main aim is to identify any gaps between what your staff need to know and what they already know.
To carry out our Training Needs Analysis we will first investigate your requirements for training by means of:
- Interviewing your management – we do this to gain an understanding of the competencies that you need to perform effectively and efficiently
- Interview your staff – the people who actually carry out the jobs that make your business perform. We will then identify any gap that exists between what the organisation requires in terms of job competencies and what skills the employees currently have to offer;
- Checking works procedures against current legislative requirements – our team will then work with you to define the optimum training solution;
- Determining what training your staff require to enable them to carry out their work in a safe and profitable manner.
We will then use various techniques to analyse what trainings you already have in place and how effective they are.
